SCHOOL TIES is here! And Compass series news…
My traditional publishing debut is finally out in the world! It seems like forever ago that I was writing this book. So long ago in fact that my friend Elisabeth Lane (of Cooking Up Romance) had to remind me that when this book was just a wee WIP on my hard drive that I referred to it as #TechnicalVirginHero. So, welcome to the world, TVH, I’m glad you made it! You can pick up my teacher-student (sort of) romance at all the vendors:
From the USA Today bestselling author of the Compass Series, the teacher becomes the student in a tale of forbidden romance in the hallowed halls of an elite, all-boys boarding school…
Erin Brewster is nervous enough on her first day of teaching at Hawthorn Hill. But the way Zach Shepherd looks at her with his dark and dreamy blue eyes really throws her off her game. He simply has to walk past her to send her heart racing. Although he’s eighteen and a senior, he’s still just a student—and very off limits. To let her eyes linger over his body, to fulfill her fantasies would be more than inappropriate. It would be career suicide.
Three years after his graduation from Hawthorn, Shep has returned as a member of the faculty—and he hasn’t forgotten his favorite teacher, the prettiest woman he’s ever seen. When they finally have a chance to get to know each other, they realize they share a common interest: kink. In fact, Shep has learned a lot about the subject during his time away and is ready to teach Erin a thing or two. He’ll soon have her begging to be held after class.
As their relationship comes under scrutiny, the ties that bind Shep and Erin may begin to fray. But some bonds grow stronger under pressure…
And, as promised, news for fans of the Compass series. Book 5 is up for pre-order and will release on December 12th! DUE SOUTH was supposed to be a sweet little holiday novella, a cute HEA for the people who bear the brunt of Hurricane India–her assistant, Lucy, and her co-worker, Evans. But when I started writing, it turned out that these people were not the adorable little moppets they appeared to be. No, they were filthy! Adorkable, yes, but also dirty, dirty, dirty.
DUE SOUTH is up for pre-order at the following vendors, more to come:
Lucy Miller has worked her way up from coffee-fetcher and copy-maker to invaluable assistant. She’s proud of her accomplishments, but she’s looking forward to a break from her demanding boss; a visit home is just the Christmas treat she needs.
Diligent and unassuming, Chanoch Evans has avoided relationships not just out of shyness, but because he doesn’t feel like he has anything to offer—most of his resources are devoted to his war-veteran younger brother.
When a desperate plea from their boss ruins their holiday plans, Lucy and Evans are stuck in an otherwise empty office with only each other for company. After catching their boss in flagrante, they start to see that each other’s mild workplace personas might be just the tip of the iceberg. Despite the prohibition against fraternization between employees, there may be more than kissing going on underneath this mistletoe…
